COMPUTEX 2019 Forum: Cloud and Edge Compute Architecture for AIoT
What: Supporting the Forum theme of Pervasive Intelligence, Supermicro VP & GM, IoT/Embedded Michael Clegg will discuss how the transition to service orientated architectures will promote the decoupling of software from hardware, and with IP and Ethernet underlying all networking, compute will become more generic. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for compute will shift to performance, resource consumption, abstraction to Containers and VMs, and edge acceleration. A number of applications that combine the cloud and edge will be covered in the talk.
