Question
I have a supermicro server with a X10DRi-TR motherboard. I have added a supermicro AOC-SLG3-2E4R that connects to 2 x Samsung U.2 PM9A3 nvme drives. However neither drives are showing up in Windows or Linux installers. I have tried enabling EFI on all pcie slots and booting to uefi operating system installer. I have also tried setting some of the cpu bifurcation settings to x8x8 but it also didn't help. Is there something I need to do?
Answer
Please make sure to change the NVMe Firmware Source to “AMI Native Support” in the BIOS:

>> Change BIOS setup menu >>Advanced >>PCI/PCIe/PnP Configuration >>NVMe Firmware Source>>AMI Native Support.
