Answer Only X10DRU-+ motherboard supports this feature by the latest IPMI FW. Originally, PUE3 mode comes out in order to save more power than PUE2 mode on ultra motherboards. When you enable smart cooling, IPMI will automatically select the PUE3 mode. Another concerns is that these CPU temperatures raise very quickly. The system will get throttling very quickly on PUE3 mode. IPMI will dynamically change PUE3 from PUE2 when you enable smart cooling mode. Was this FAQ helpful?
