Supermicro introduces the Spectrum-2 based Open Networking 25G Switch SSE-SN3420 series that is designed to provide high density 25G as well as 100G ports in a compact 1U form factor.

SSE-SN3420 is an ideal choice for Top-of-Rack network Switch that delivers exceptional processing capacity of 3.5Bpps, suitable for leaf-spine architecture data center deployments.

With a total of 4.8Tb/s throughput, SSE-SN3420 switch comes with dual and redundant power supplies and FANs. The included rail kit facilitates rack-mounting installations.

SSE-SN3420 is ready with pre-installed Cumulus Linux OS for open networking incorporating a true Linux distribution with extensive networking features plus hardware acceleration of routing and switching functions. By using many of the same tools employed for servers, Cumulus Linux enables affordable scalability with clear CapEx savings and even greater OpEx savings; it unleashes rapid innovation via custom, open source or commercial Linux tools and applications.
