Supermicro’s next generation 400Gbps Open Networking Switch SSE-T7132 is designed to provide high density and superior performance to meet the modern data datacenter demands.
The Super Micro Computer SSE-T7132 is professional datacenter switch with robust 50 Gbps PAM4 SERDES lowers the cost per bit and enables higher scale I/O such as 200 GbE and 400 GbE while maintaining backward compatibility with 10/25G NRZ.
SSE-T7132SR delivers exceptional forwarding performance for today’s networking applications such as High Performance Computing Clusters, Cloud computing and most of the data center applications. With the ability to use it as a single SKU over various network layers such as Data Center Spine, leaf, ToR and DCI applications, SSE-T7132 provides easy of management and thus less burden to users.
With 1U rack size occupancy and high port density 400G/200G/100G, T7132 achieves minimalistic setup in the rack. SSE-T7132 comes in standard and reverse airflow models that can operate at variety of speeds such as 32x400Gbps QSFP56-DD or 64 x200Gbps QSFP56 or 128x100Gbps QSFP28 using the breakout cables. Switch comes with dual and redundant power supplies and FANs that are FRU capable. The included rail kit facilitates rack-mounting installations.
With emerging SONiC OS support on SSE-T7132 switch provides greater flexibility to applications such as large-scale enterprises, service providers and cloud computing. Supermicro provides user friendly enhancements to the OS that suits to the various data center applications.
Machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) applications enabled by faster CPUs, and flash storage are driving the next generation of datacenter cloud networks based on 400G Ethernet. Evolution to the next generation requires systems that deliver optimized performance for ML/AI and address the growth and increased scale of modern cloud environments. Line rate performance and proven layer 2 and layer 3 features with up to 128 ports of 100G or 64 ports of 200GE or 32 ports of 400G along with break through power efficiency and FLASHLIGHT analytics
