(NASDAQ: SMCI), a global leader in enterprise computing, storage, networking solutions and green computing technology, today announced that it is showcasing new additions to its extensive network edge and security appliance portfolio, featuring systems based on the latest Intel processors at the RSA Singapore Conference 2018 from July 25-27 at the Marina Bay Sands, booth #1815 & #1817.
Leveraging its deep expertise in server technology and global service, Supermicro is demonstrating a full line of solutions that support the latest Intel® Xeon® D-2100 processors with up to 60 percent compute performance improvement compared to the previous-generation. The SYS-5019D-FN8TP and SYS-E300-9D based on X11SDV series motherboards offer infrastructure optimization by combining the performance and advanced intelligence of the new system-on-a-chip processors into a dense, lower-power compact solution ideal for embedded applications. Supermicro platforms also support integrated Intel® QuickAssist Technology (Intel® QAT) providing cryptography engines for faster encryption and decryption of messages or information for authorized and intended use.

With a depth of 11.3 inches, this 1U system is powered by Supermicro’s X11SCZ-F micro-ATX motherboard and supports two hot-swap and two internal 2.5-inch hard drive bays, up to 64GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 memory, two GbE LAN ports, four USB 3.1 devices, a PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot, M.2 slot, and a dedicated IPMI 2.0 remote management port. Support for socket-based processors makes it easy for customers to populate an optimized CPU based on their specific requirements, while the PCI-E x16 slot empowers customers to expand their features.
