Question How to repair damaged IPMI firmware for X9DRW-3F? My attempt to restore the firmware from DOS failed. My listing: C:\yafukcs -full -force-boot rom.ima Error in SendTimedImbpRequest Error in Getting FMH Info Error in FirmwareInfo Such problems in 34 motherboard of 1300 we acquired. At startup is very long initialization IPMI which ends in error. When trying to reset getting error. My listing: ipmicfg -fd Failed to get IPMI firmware reverison, Completion Code=D4h Answer Please DO NOT use yafukcs utility for a X9 motherboard. That utility was designed for Supermicro's X8 motherboard (previous generation). The new generation X9DRW-3F, X9DRW-iF, and X9DRG-QF boards uses RKCSFLSH.exe utility. If you go to Supermicro's website and search for the board, on the board's page there will be a link to the IPMI update package (.zip). Inside the .zip file will contain the firmware image and another .zip with all the flash utilities for that board. Was this FAQ helpful?
