The H8DCT-HLN4F supports up to 192GB of Registered ECC or 64GB of Unbuffered ECC/non-ECC DDR3 1600/1333/1066MHz SDRAM in 12 DIMM slots. Populating DIMMs in groups of two, one per channel (2, 4 or 6 DIMMs/CPU), the same DIMM type in H8DCT-HLN4F each channel, the same amount of memory on each CPU will improve memory performance.
